Might be a nice idea to have a workshop board where writers can post snippets of writing for other users to review and give feedback on. I know there's a Writer's Q&A, but it doesn't serve the same purpose, and shouldn't be clogged up like that.

You mean, say, if you were in the process of writing something, and you wanted advice on a particular paragraph? You'd paste it there and people would help you smooth it out etc?

You could post a piece say, up to maybe 1500 words or something, or a piece of poetry or whatever it is, and then users could help you work on it. Any chance of that happening? I think it would be greatly beneficial.

Even if she isn't it's a good idea. A lot of the new ideas members have don't always even have to benefit them all the time. I think it's a really good idea that everyone can and probably will at some stage use.

I think 1500 is a bit hefty. I was thinking a paragraph... 1500 is like a whole short story!

I'd say what you had was perfect. I'm gonna post something as well. It's a bit longer, but I don't think it's more than 400 words tops.

Why, what a tight ship you run here. Nice to see the new board up and running. As for me? Struggling is putting it lightly, but it's writer's block rather than a paragraph that needs smoothing out. Ah well, I get a kick from helping other people, so that'll have to do for now.

I think it might be somewhat better in the Writer's Q&A section, though. It doesn't necessarily fit in the Book Discussion section.
