Hi,
I suppose I should sound a little sheepish, I have rather neglected the den in the past year or so... maybe even longer I don't remember.
For those of you who know me, hi again, who have we lost, who have we gained? The marriage with the monkey didn't work out and we decided to go our separate ways. He got the house.
For that reason I knuckled down to my A-levels and managed to get 5 As at A level. I'm now in Birmingham Uni studying maths and chemistry.
The reason I remembered you all again was that the university is just starting up a science magazine and they want ed to know if I had any past experience in writing. I was going to tell them about you lot but thought I'd better not. You're a bit wierd.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Andrew (but call me eggy), I'm not quite a founding father of the LitDen, but I'm definately old-school. You can see this from my taste in music (nothing after 1985 godammit). I like walks on the beach, pina-coladas and being caught in the rain. I dislike bad grammar, cats, people who don't see maths in all its beauty and religious nut-jobs (i.e. die-hard creationists, cult-leaders who abuse their position of trust and people who tell me I will spend eternity rotting in hell).
errr.. .I think thats it, apart from the fact that I will now spend much more time talking to you lot (if you want me that is)...

EGGY!! ;D *ahem* Hi! It's been too long man. We missed you! Hmm... we've lost a few, like Jonny, but we're gained a few, like Lisa, Brendan, and a second Paul (Paul B). And they're all Irish. So... take that? Oh, I hope you got that editing job. It suits you perfectly! You're like my friend Owen, only instead of studying computers and stuff, you're studying Maths and Chemistry. He also liked them, only he couldn't see himself doing them for the rest of his life. And he doesn't write. Hmm... I'm slightly religious nut, in that I'm training to become a religion teacher, and I'm crazy But I'm also studying English, which is still my favourite subject over the two. Old school indeed! You were one of the first members! I know this because the forum tells me you joined in May 2007, which was when the forum was launched. Oh you have to keep coming back. It's been weird without you, and I know everyone will get along with you (or else). Your name has popped up a few times too (largely in the area of my WMDs that Andy confiscated for threatening to blow up Wales ) Yay Eggy! ;D

OH MY GOD, 5 As?!?!?! Is that even humanely possible?! Congratultions - that is seriously, genuinly, amazingly incredible. I shall donate you some karma by way of MASSIVE congratulations!! Seriously, though? MATHS at BIRMINGHAM?! Bad mistake. You'll wind up like my Dad. (Class of God-knows-when...) Welcome back (welcome HOME?), and I'm sorry to hear about the monkey... xoxo Amy

EGGY! *man hug*
How you been lad? Glad to see you back with us, at last some more insanity to fill the halls of the forum.
And I'm so glad to see that all that surgery didn't have too bad a lasting effect...

Well, you can still walk and talk and breathe, can't you?
Anyway, how did you get on for all this time with that... yeah... for a hand...? Ok?
I think I can fix that, y'know...
