I really think it's time someone fixed the home page. Sorry but I've recommended a few people now and it really does let the site down. Half the coding is missing, and if you want to make guests stay and have easy access, you need this fixed BIG time. You cant enter the site on that homepage so I have to keep gicing out the forum link instead.
I mentioned this to andy like...6 months ago, but still no-one has fixed it..

By the way the error is because of compatibility with different browsers. Lucky for you guys someone I recommended the site to figured it out before any of us!!! The site will run properly on internet explorer, but not on Mozilla, etc. no-ones taken any notice of this thread so I will go hound some other people somewhere else til you notice me

Sorry, I noticed, but its not really my problem. Chris C-M does the website (as far as I know), so its for him to fix. But hes been quite busy as of late, so it may stay a little rugged for a bit longer, sorry!

I have IE 7 and Firefox 3 It seems the CSS takes a while to catch up but it works on both. I don't really like the light blue/dark blue/yellow combo... sort of an eyesore for me. I also suggested - when this forum began - that we use better software. However it went unnoticed.

We're pretty limited on this one, at least while Mr C-M can't get online very often. We just have to live with it for now.

He seems to have just vanished! I texted him the other day and I never got a reply. But I reckon once September comes he'll be able to pop his head back in. He just lacks any sort of internet sometimes. It depends on where he's staying.
And Mike, we understand the colours are a bit... well dramatic, painful and explosively in your face, but eh... yeah that's Christopher for you. I think it may be a little brighter when it all gets updated though. He's having a friend revamp the website. Hoepfully we'll get rid of the layered look you sometimes get when the site loads.
We may also be getting a new host and forum. Hopefully that'll speed things up drmatically. It does mean that everything we've ever said will go away forever on this thing. Fresh starts for everyone I think. But not until Christopher makes all the changes.

Problem is we cant advertise the website with the anthology if it is like this. The site has to be bang on if we want people to use the site to see what we are about.
If its not up to scratch why would the buy the book?

That's a good point, Chris. I'll do my best to get in touch with C-M again.

I think the best thing to do is just leave out the webpage, and just promote the forum on the book. unless it gets a revamp before the release.

If I'm understanding what you're offering, then I think Chris Stewart is supplying that. It's advertising you're talking about right? If not, please tell me what it is you're offering. And Eggy, i think you meant promote the book on the forum

Right...
Hey guys.
I'm going to be living with my web designer for a few months.
I need you to all vote on a colour scheme....
I also need to know if you want a "members only" area of the website that only registered members can access...

I'd pay around about 20p tops for you Chris. Members only sounds good to me, but would we all use it? The forum gives us most of what we want. What sort of stuff would be there? As for colours, something softer. Anything softer.
